The deep red paint-stain at Carthage High School reaches wall to wall.  The 4,790 sq. ft. court is surrounded by another 4,790 sq. ft. of red stain. Though the gym was stained red, the hardwood maple wood still shows through.  This adds a great contrast from sidelines to playing area.

The play-area maple hardwood features main basketball and volleyball lines and a 360 sq. ft. center court logo.  The high school logo, a large 'C', is also stained red. The Bulldog's court also has side volleyball and baskeball practice lines. Natural letters flank the entire court at the baselines.
